
Meet Our Team
Dr. Jamie Hall is a dually licensed school psychologist and clinical psychologist practicing in Ohio. She earned her doctorate degree from The Ohio State University School Psychology Program in 2019 and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at an established private practice in Dublin, Ohio. Since graduation, she has provided contracted school psychological services to several schools in Ohio, provided psychological services to children, adolescents, and young adults within the private practice setting, and has taught several graduate-level courses at The Ohio State University. Dr. Hall has also provided professional development locally, regionally, and nationally pertaining to suicide postvention practices, school reentry following hospitalization and suicide attempts, and child/adolescent wellness.
Dr. Hall resides in Powell with her husband, son, and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and kayaking.

Julie Baker, M.A., is a licensed school psychologist and also provides psychological services under supervision in the private setting with Dr. Hall. She earned her master’s degree from The Ohio State University School Psychology Program in 2005 and has been a practicing school psychologist since that time, serving several school districts in Ohio. Julie has provided psychological services in the private practice setting since 2023.
Julie, her husband, and her two boys live in the small town of Croton. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outside, and reading (or more often listening to audiobooks).
Under supervision, Julie currently provides individual counseling, group counseling, parent/school consultation, psychological evaluations, and contracted school psychological services.

Valerie Cook, M.Ed., has been working in the field of education, specifically with neurodiverse individuals, for over 25 years. She has a master’s degree in education from The Ohio State University and has completed doctoral-level coursework in the Ohio State University School Psychology Program. She has also collaboratively designed curriculums to meet varying needs and presented on topics locally on topics such as supporting siblings of neurodiverse children.
Under supervision, Valerie provides individual counseling, social-emotional learning groups, and behavioral consultation to parents and schools to improve the health and well-being of clients and their families.
Valerie lives in Powell, Ohio with her family and has three children, one with special needs.
Valerie Cook
Emily France, M.A., is a fifth-year doctoral candidate in the School Psychology Program at The Ohio State University. She is passionate about assessing, counseling, and providing interventions to children and adolescents experiencing various challenges. Starting in her undergraduate career, Emily completed over 1,400 hours as an intern at a grief center. During this time, she assisted in co-leading small counseling groups, volunteered as a Victims of Crime Advocate, and worked as a residential support specialist (where she supervised and assisted clients with daily living activities, maintained knowledge of individualized care plans, and maintained clinical records of all clients).
Under supervision, Emily provides individual counseling, family/school consultation, group counseling, and psychological evaluations.
Emily France
Dr. Lindsay Matthews completed her doctorate degree at The Ohio State University in May 2024. Her research emphasized helping children heal from complex trauma through sand play therapy. Dr. Matthews has clinical experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, and young adults. She also has experience assessing students and supporting their academic and social-emotional growth in the school setting. Dr. Matthews has extended training in sand play therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy. She uses her training and experience to help children and young adults heal from traumatic grief or trauma related to emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. She also has experience helping children and adolescents navigate adjustment to parental separation and/or divorce. Additionally, Dr. Matthews has experience helping young people explore issues related to adoption or placement in foster/kinship care.
Dr. Matthews joined the practice in July 2024 and currently provides individual counseling and contracted school psychological services under supervision.

Aly Stults, M.A., is a fourth-year doctoral student in the School Psychology Program at The Ohio State University. She earned her master’s degree in educational studies through The Ohio State University (2023) and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ohio University (2021.) Aly has a passion for advocacy and providing culturally responsive mental health services. Some of her areas of focus include: social-emotional awareness and skill development, coping strategies, crisis prevention and intervention, behavior management, and addressing/healing trauma. She has worked with individuals with many different diagnoses/classifications such as ADHD, Anxiety, Autism, Depression, developmental disabilities, and other behavioral needs. Aly strives to provide strengths-based services in a safe and accepting environment for individuals and their families to achieve positive life outcomes.
Under supervision, Aly currently provides individual counseling, group counseling, parent/school consultation, and psychological evaluations.
